A GROUP of musicians who play electric blues and rock classics will be staging a concert in north Durham.
Bluessential will be taking its brand of Chicago-style rock music to the Daisy Hill in Sacriston at 8.30pm on Friday.
Bluessential plays music made famous by the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones, as well as original numbers.
Members of the five-piece group come from Bishop Auckland, Consett, Annfield Plain, Whitley Bay and Sunderland.
While they play for fun - all have full time jobs - Bluessential's members say they pride themselves in a "mature, professional attitude in delivering high quality" music.
