A NETBALL coach who threw herself into a computer course is using her new-found skills to launch a club.
Anne-Marie Wade took all eight modules of the European Computer Driving Licence in Darlington.
And the 38-year-old, of Staindrop, County Durham, is now making the most of her new IT knowledge.
"We launched the Teesdale Junior Netball Club and my new IT skills are proving really useful," said Mrs Wade, who also plays netball for Gainford. "I'm able to keep databases of players and in touch with other clubs. I can produce fliers and am even thinking of developing a website. I can also use the computer to book tickets through the All England Netball website."
Mrs Wade was helped with her studies for the learndirect course by Darlington College of Technology tutors, based at Darlington Library.
