POLICE are hunting two muggers who struck in Guisborough.
The woman, who is in her forties, was attacked last Friday at about 1pm in the Westgate area, near Fountain Street.
The victim was treated for shock and minor bruising at James Cook Hospital, in Middlesbrough, after her handbag was snatched.
The two men emptied the contents of the woman's bag onto the pavement before stealing cash, bank cards and medication.
The attackers took some Clomethiazole tablets, which could be dangerous if taken in significant quantities.
Police warned anyone who finds the tablets, which are greyish-brown capsules, not to take them.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on (01642) 302626.
