VOLUNTEERS are turning to television for inspiration to transform their local cricket club this weekend.
Businesses and volunteers will be helping to give Crook Town Cricket Club a makeover.
They will come together for a Ground Force meets Changing Rooms-style project instigated by the English Cricket Board and NatWest.
More than 110 volunteers are committed and more than £15,000-worth of materials and donations have come from businesses and shops.
Project manager Frank Gibbon said: "Everyone at Crook Town Cricket Club has been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of all those involved in the project."
