A MODEL agency is coming to the North-East this month in the hope of finding the next Kate Moss.
London agency Storm Model Management will hold auditions for young men and women.
The event has been organised by the agency's model-booker, Tracie Bestford, originally from Hartlepool.
She said: "I originally got into the modelling scene when I was 16 years old. An agency called Style Promotions, based in Sunderland, was looking for new models and was holding auditions.
"I went along and was signed up with the agency and modelled with them for nearly ten years.
"I loved the industry so much that I decided to move to London to pursue a career as a model-booker, and was very lucky to land a job at one of the top London agencies.
"I am very proud of my northern roots. I want the next Kate Moss to be from the North-East as I feel the area harbours a lot of beautiful people."
The agency is looking for people aged 14 to 20. Girls should be 5ft 8in to 5ft 11in, and boys should be 6ft to 6ft 2in.
The auditions are from 10am to 6pm next Saturday, at Unit 2, 42 Northumberland Street, Newcastle. Places do not need to be booked.
The agency's website is at www.stormmodels.co.uk
