YOUNGSTERS got to grips with nature yesterday as they tracked down hidden treats.
Children and their parents visited Geneva Wood, in Darlington, for an Easter egg hunt organised by Darlington Borough Council's countryside team.
A council spokesman said: "It was a good chance for the kids to learn about their local environment and have a bit of fun at the same time."
