POLICE are appealing for the owner of an articulated tanker and other witnesses to come forward following a collision on Wednesday.
The accident happened on the coastal road between Port Clarence and Hartlepool, and involved a blue Citroen Xara and a blue Land Rover Discovery.
The driver of the Citroen sustained minor neck injuries and the Land Rover driver was not injured.
A tanker stopped at the scene but left before police could speak to the driver.
The vehicle is not believed to directly involved, but the driver may have information and is asked to contact PC Mark Cubitt, at Cleveland Road Policing, on (01642) 301552.
