GREAT-GRANDMOTHER Alice Gill is so loved, well-wishers were still presenting her with bouquets of flowers last night, hours after a party celebrating her 105th birthday.
Mrs Gill, a surviving twin, who remembers the sinking of the Titanic, was born in North Skelton, east Cleveland, in 1900.
She moved to Brotton 74 years ago, and moved into the White House Residential Home, in Brotton, about six years ago.
Her daughter, Marie, and son, Harry, are both grandparents. Amanda Davison, a care assistant at the home, said: "Everyone knows her, and she is still a character.
"She is a very fun-loving person. She appreciates a good joke and also sings."
