AN organisation which helps teenagers into work has been given a good report from Government inspectors.
Connexions County Durham was judged by Ofsted inspectors four months ago and the results, published yesterday, show the partnership to be performing satisfactorily and providing value for money.
The report particularly highlighted good practice in the support and help offered to young people by the team of Connexions personal advisors.
Executive director Janice Bray said: "We are pleased that Ofsted inspectors recognised the high standard of the work our advisors carry out to enable young people in County Durham to reach their potential, as well as our commitment to involving young people in key decisions about delivery of services."
She also said: "In the four months since our inspection, we have continued to work with partners and young people to improve services as well as addressing areas for development in the report."
