A SUPPORT service for teenagers has been given a good report by Government inspectors.
An Ofsted report on Connexions County Durham published yesterday shows the partnership to be performing satisfactorily and giving value for money. The report highlighted good practice in the support offered to young people by personal advisors.
Executive director Janice Bray said: "We are pleased that Ofsted inspectors recognised the high standard of the work our advisors carry out to enable young people in County Durham to reach their potential, as well as our commitment to involving young people in key decisions about delivery of services."
She added: "In the four months since our inspection, we have continued to work with partners and young people to improve services.
