TOWN councillors looking for a way to cut noise at a parish hall may have found a solution thanks to a different venue.
Councillors in Sedgefield have been considering the parish hall's future after agreeing to limit the number of events it holds to avoid disturbing nearby residents.
Now they have asked independent consultants to consider if Ceddesfeld Hall, another community centre, could be extended to create a new venue.
A council spokesperson said all options are being considered and it would try to find a new use for the hall.
