A BURGLAR serving three years behind bars was sentenced to a further nine months yesterday, after admitting four more offences.
Lance Wilson, 30, was brought from custody to answer a further four burglary allegations at Durham Crown Court.
Rachael Hedworth, prosecuting, said Wilson twice climbed into houses in Horden, east Durham, through open ground floor windows while the owners were asleep upstairs.
He also took a public address system from a garage compound containing two coaches, in Parsons Road, Peterlee.
Alex Burns, for Wilson, said he ran into difficulties with a loan shark after borrowing money to buy a motorcycle.
Mr Burns said Wilson also previously suffered a drug problem, which has ended while he has been in custody.
Wilson, of Johnson Estate, Wheatley Hill, east Durham, who admitted the four offences, was jailed for an extra nine months, added to the existing three-year stretch.
