TICKETS are on sale for the summer season of shows at a North-East theatre.
The programme at the Theatre Royal, in Newcastle, is bringing some of the world's finest companies to the region.
Performances will include a rock 'n' roll extravaganza featuring music from The Who. There is also a stage version of When Harry Met Sally, starring Gaby Roslin.
Other big name performers include Russ Abbot, in Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, Jonathan Wilkes, in Tommy, and Lisa Goddard, in High Society.
Susie Amy, who played Chardonnay in Footballers' Wives, makes her Theatre Royal debut in an adaptation of Frederick Knott's Wait Until Dark.
Peter Sarah, the theatre's chief executive, said: "I am delighted that we can continue to introduce new companies and performers to North-East audiences.
"The Theatre Royal's summer season continues our enormously successful year which has seen more than 90,000 people through the doors.
"It is our aim to continue to deliver performances that will inspire, challenge and above all entertain."
