A BRANCH of the RSPCA has set up its own website to help it re-home unwanted pets.
The charity's Harrogate branch hopes the site will also raise their profile.
The site - at www.rspcaharrogate.org.uk - contains contact numbers and an e-mail address for the branch, which covers 400sq m of North Yorkshire, including Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and Boroughbridge.
It also features animals in need of good homes - and stories of animals that have been re-homed successfully.
Branch administrator Jill Johnson said: "As a charity, we depend on donations to carry out our vital work. Hopefully, the Internet will bring that work to the attention of far more people."
