AGE CONCERN has unveiled a full programme of events for April.
Seated Exercise to Music sessions for Over 50s are on Mondays from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the Community House, Proudfoot Drive, Woodhouse Close. Sessions are free.
The sessions also start today at Sunniside Community Centre at 2pm. There is no need to book.
A new season of Physically Active Life Seniors starts on Wednesday, in Baring Court sheltered accommodation, Tow Law. These are free mixed exercise and fun classes, which also offer advice and information and are open to non-residents from 9.30am until noon.
On Wednesday, the Wear Valley Benefits team will be offering benefits checks and a range of advice, as well as free low-energy light bulbs. Line dancing and yoga is on April 20 and aerobics and a gentle walk on April 27.
Age Concern Durham County's Information and Advice bus visits Scarth Hall, Staindrop, tomorrow, at 1.30pm; Wolsingham Market Place on Wednesday from 10am to noon and Frosterley Village Hall from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
On Thursday, from 10am at the Rose and Crown, Romaldkirk, 11am Mickleton Village Hall, 1.30pm Butterknowle Community Centre and 2.30pm Butterknowle Garden View.
