POLICE are urging a man who has not been home since the end of last month to get in touch.
Peter David Shield, 54, of Stanley, has been missing since Wednesday, March 30, but was recently seen in Lanchester, at a pub and at a bed and breakfast.
A police spokesman urged Mr Shield to call them to let them know he was safe and well and appealed for anyone else who sees him to get in contact.
Mr Shield is described as 5ft 10in, medium build, and with brown hair that is balding on top. He wears glasses.
When he was last seen he was wearing blue cord trousers, a blue checked jumper, beige fleece and brown shoes. He is believed to be driving a B-reg silver/grey Vauxhall Vectra car.
Call police on 0845 606 0365.
