POLICE raids throughout the Redcar and Cleveland area netted £1,000 worth of ecstasy tablets, 118 stolen car radios and £3,000 worth of new clothing.
As part of Operation Sabre, 55 officers and community safety wardens made eight arrests after targeting addresses in the borough.
Two people were arrested following the drugs raid in Redcar where 250 ecstasy tablets found.
In another address, in Eston, a man was arrested when 118 car stereos were found. Officers are currently making extensive enquiries to trace the owners.
In a third raid, in Grangetown, officers recovered nearly £3,000 worth of new clothing which they are trying to identify.
Chief Inspector Ian Coates said: "Sabre operations give me the additional resources to target hot intelligence and act upon it quickly.
"The recovery of all this property gives my officers a significant amount of enquiries to be followed up, a thorough search will hopefully lead to victims of crime being reunited with their property."
The other phase of the operation saw 25 uniformed officers and 18 community wardens patrolling the streets of Guisborough. Just two crimes were recorded during the day-long operation last week.
Insp Coates said: "I hope that the community of Guisborough saw the significant number of staff who have kept crime to low level."
