I am sad to say that this will be my last posting on The Northern Echo's website as I am off to pastures new and must hang up my columnist's hat.

I hope people have enjoyed reading my views on everything from dishy Gordon Ramsay and dirty rat Darren Day to fussy eaters and turning 30 - I have certainly enjoyed sharing my thoughts.

I am staying in Darlington with my new job and as my on-line biography says, most weekends I can be found dancing in Flares - I hope to see you there!
