WOULD-BE entrepreneurs are to be given expert advice on starting up their own businesses.
Staff at Business Link County Durham believe many people want to start their own ventures, but are put off by negative myths about running a business.
A series of events is being planned at the Glebe Centre in Murton tomorrow, between 6pm and 9pm, and Peterlee's Shotton Hall, on April 28, at the same times.
Business mentors and a local guest will be on hand to give advice and help.
The project is part of a series of initiatives backed by Business Link, with the support of Barclays Bank, and is designed to give people the confidence to go it alone.
To book a free place on either event, or for further information, contact 0191-370 9559.
The events are open to anyone over the age of 18 interested in business
