CONCERN is growing for a man who has not been seen since he left his home during a family row.
Glen Wigham stormed out of the house in Bowness Close, on the Edenhill estate, in Peterlee shortly after 11pm on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old had had an argument with his mother and is thought to have made his way off on a bicycle.
Police say they are concerned he may do himself harm because of some of the comments he made as he left the house.
Acting sergeant Steve Thubron said: "We know that on some occasions in the past, Glen has slept rough in the Peterlee area and it is possible he may have done the same thing this time.
"He might only have been missing since Tuesday night, but we are concerned for his well-being and would urge him to contact ourselves or his family as soon as possible."
Mr Wigham is 5ft 7 in tall, with slim build and brown hair, which is cut short.
Anyone who has seen Mr Wigham since Tuesday night is asked to ring police on 0845 6060365.
