A RE-LAUNCHED theatre group is seeking dancers and singers for a production of the musical version of Fame.
Theatre Elite is to be based at the Shotton Hall centre for performing arts, in Peterlee, but hopes to draw potential cast members from across County Durham.
An open audition for Fame will be staged at Seaham Youth Centre, on Saturday, April 23, from 10am to 4pm.
A total of 40 cast members are needed for the show, half in the 12 to 16 age bracket, with the rest aged 16-plus.
Applications should be made by next Wednesday to ensure a place at the audition day.
Anyone interested should contact production manager Wayne Malcolm on 0191-527 3631 for further details.
There is a £5 audition fee to meet the cost of the hire of the hall for the auditions.
