A CANINE sports club is looking for members.
Teesdale Flyball Club, which has been a semi-finalist at Crufts, is hoping to attract more members.
The club is also hoping to attract more junior members aged over 11.
In the flyball event, dogs must stamp on a pedal to release a ball, which they catch in their mouths, and then race over hurdles.
The County Durham club will start beginner classes at Ramshaw Riding Centre on Thursday, June 9.
It will also hold demonstrations at Barnard Castle Steam Fair on May 29, and Mickleton Village Fair on June 4.
Club secretary Anne Spiby said: "Any size or shape of dog is able to join in, as long as they are not aggressive, as it is not a sport for aggressive dogs.
"The dogs also have to be over a year old so that their bones are formed properly."
To join, call Ms Spiby on (01833) 638584.
