A TEESDALE visitor attraction has seen visitor numbers soar over the Easter holidays.
The Meet the Middletons visitor centre, in Middleton-in-Teesdale, which only opened last year, exceeded its visitor targets over the Easter period and gave the centre its busiest times since it opened.
General manager Grace Wallace said she and the staff were thrilled at the amount of visitors the centre received.
She added: "Visitor numbers have exceeded our expectations.
"Meet the Middletons is, of course, still in its early stages, as we haven't been open for a year yet, but the team here all work extremely hard to attract visitors and to ensure that they really enjoy their visit.
"It makes the hard work worthwhile when we are rewarded with so many visitors."
The visitor centre's permanent exhibition was augmented with Easter treats for younger visitors, including an egg hunt and egg decorating.
