RITCHIE Humphreys has set his Hartlepool United team-mates a fresh target - win the last three games.
Last week's 3-0 thumping of play-off rivals Sheffield Wednesday put Pool in fourth spot in League One with only three weeks of the season remaining.
If Brentford win their game in hand tonight - at Wrexham - Pool will drop a place.
But Humphreys knows Pool's fate is in their own hands and said: "We have put ourselves in a good position and are in there with three games left, but it's nowhere near certain.
"We don't want to get beaten at Doncaster, we want to go and win our last three games if possible.
"We enjoyed our night on Friday, to beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 is a tremendous result."
Humphreys, whose career started out at Hillsborough, looked on in admiration as Adam Boyd bagged a first career hat-trick last week to sink his former club and admitted: "Adam was fantastic.
"It was a poacher's goal for his first one, he showed pace and determination for his second and his third was all about Adam and the ability he's got.
"He twisted and turned, produced a sublime finish and deserved his hat-trick.
"Adam has done things this season that a lot of teams won't see in this division.
"He's a tremendous talent and I'm glad that he's here under contract for a couple of years yet!
"We all know his ability, he's been known for a good few years here.
"In the last 18 months to two years he has added a determined and team playing attitude with that and we are all reaping the benefits.''
* Pool have been allocated 1,200 tickets for the final game of the season at Bournemouth. The game is all-ticket and season ticket holders can buy them from today, before going on general sale next Tuesday.
There are 2,000 tickets available for Saturday's trip to Doncaster and they are only available on the turnstiles at the Earth Stadium.
