A TOWN'S rugby team will feel at home when a comedy drama is staged in their clubhouse - for the action is set in a rugby club.
The play, Dangle in the Dust, by former rugby player Ken Reay, will be staged at the rugby club in Barnard Castle, on Friday, May 13.
Rugby club secretary Tim Worley said: "It is the first time we have staged a play, but as it is about our sport it should fit in well with our surroundings.
"Ken Reay used to be a rugby player, so he will know what he is writing about.
"We hope a lot of local people will come in and enjoy it."
The play has a cast of three men.
A pie and peas supper will be included in the ticket price of £5.
Tickets can be booked at the club or by calling 07810 734853 or (01833) 637608 during the evenings.
