Elderly and disabled residents can now pick up their "Message in a Bottle" packs.
The packs, which contain a medical bottle and two stickers, are available from Boots, in Northgate, Age Concern, in Bradbury House, Moss Pharmacy in Morrisons, Morton Park Way, and all ambulance and fire stations.
The Message in a Bottle initiative, which is supported by Age Concern, aims to save time for paramedics when they attend an emergency.
Residents are asked to put their medical details in the bottle and then into their fridge, while attaching the stickers to their front door and fridge door, so paramedics know where to look.
To find out more, call Age Concern on (01325) 362832.
