PEOPLE are being urged to go to a meeting to find out more about osteoporosis.
Hambleton and Richmondshire Osteoporosis Support Group is holding the meeting on May 3, at 6pm, in Northallerton Library. Clinical aromatherapist Sarah Irwin will be the speaker.
Entry costs £2 and nurse advisors will be on hand.
Cath Hutton, chairwoman of the group, said: "As a nurse specialising in the field, I feel very strongly that everyone needs to know about this disease. Recent research shows that one woman in two and one man in five will break a bone because of it."
