TWO men found in possession of cannabis and ecstasy tablets were both given 18-month community rehabilitation orders by magistrates yesterday.
Graeme Hogg, 22, and Kevin Shields, 23, were arrested after police raided an address in Chatsworth Terrace, Darlington, on January 28.
Hogg, of Dundee Street, Darlington, admitted possession of 155 ecstasy tablets and 238 grams of cannabis resin.
Shields, of Salutation Road, pleaded guilty to possession of 72 ecstasy tablets and of 24 grams of cannabis resin.
David Maddison, prosecuting, said the drugs had probably come from the same original source.
The two men, who represented themselves in court, were given the community rehabilitation orders and told to pay £34 costs each.
The magistrates ordered the destruction of the drugs.
