TICKETS for a star-studded concert in the North-East will be given away this weekend.
BBC Radio One hosts a free music event for 30,000 people in Sunderland, on Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8.
A final line-up of stars appearing at the Big Weekender event, near Penshaw Monument, Herrington Park, has been announced.
On the main stage on Saturday, from 1pm, are Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers, Kasbian, Natalie Imbruglia, Athlete, Rooster and KT Tunstall. DJs Mauro Picotto, Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Fergie and Jon O'Bir will be on a second stage.
On, Sunday, the event starts at 12.30pm and features the Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Jamiroquai Basement Jaxx, Kaiser Chiefs, Lemar and The Bravery.
Free tickets are being given away this weekend, in the Civic Centre car park, Sunderland.
A total of 15,000 tickets are available for each day.
Today's giveaway will be for the Saturday event and tickets handed out tomorrow will be for the Sunday line-up.
The ticket office opens at noon each day and will close once all the tickets are gone.
