POSTAL voters in North Yorkshire will receive their ballot forms for the county council elections this week.
Election workers are compiling 11,000 postal voting packs for the council elections.
Once these have been completed, the teams will put together the packs for postal voters in the General Election.
More than 21,000 electors have applied for a postal vote and more are expected.
Hambleton chief executive Peter Simpson said: "Postal voters should not be concerned when they receive the first pack from us - for the county council election. The parliamentary packs will be coming separately.
"However, if anyone has not received both by April 30 they should contact us."
