SOFTWARE services group TSG continued its expansion yesterday by buying an independent company.
Newcastle-based Technology Services Group has bought Agenda Business Systems, in Barnsley, for an undisclosed sum.
All seven staff at Agenda, which has 150 customers, will transfer to TSG. Its former managing director, Kevin Turton, will become area business manager.
He said: "We have built up a reputation as a reliable local supplier. This can only go from strength to strength when backed up by TSG's national presence."
The acquisition was overseen for TSG by legal firm Ward Hadaway, of Newcastle.
It follows the purchase of a Leeds company in February. The group plans to recruit another 25 staff in the Yorkshire area during the next 18 months.
