AN animal welfare charity is appealing for a home for two dogs and a cat because their owners are moving to Scotland.
The National Animal Sanctuaries Support League, near Sadberge, wants to rehome Levi, Sheba and Ellie together but is conscious that it might be difficult to find one home for all three animals and is considering having to separate them.
Levi is a 15-month-old German Shepherd cross, Sheba, also 15 months old, is a black and white whippet/collie cross and Ellie is a three-year-old tortoiseshell cat.
Pauline Wilson, of the animal welfare charity, said: "We would like to keep them together, but that is a dream. They are a ready made little family and play really nicely together."
Levi, Sheba and Ellie are currently living in Newton Aycliffe. If you are interesting in rehoming them, either separately or together, telephone Mrs Wilson on (01325) 321855 or 07748 268822.
