VISITORS to sports centres and swimming pools will have the chance to win £10,000 worth of prizes this weekend.
Tees Active Ltd, which is celebrating its first anniversary this Saturday, operates Billingham Forum, Splash in Stockton, Thornaby Pavilion, Stockton Sports Centre, Thornaby Pool and Castlegate Quay.
To mark its first year in business, the company will give a free raffle ticket for each paid visit, which could win customers prizes including an overnight stay at a country hall and a mountain bike.
Tees Active, which took over the running of the sports centres from Stockton Borough Council, will also offer face-painting and free giveaways for children and adults.
Mary Butterwick, founder of the Butterwick Hospice, will officially launch the birthday giveaway, at Splash swimming centre, Stockton, on Saturday.
