Youngsters in a Teesside school took part in a two-hour music marathon yesterday to raise money for charity.
Children aged from three to 11 at Teesside Preparatory and High School took part in the two-hour event to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance.
The event was started by the school's nursery and reception classes at 9.30am, and all classes took part in relays until 11.30am.
Every girl in the school took part in the event, organised by head of music Pat Ryan, and the aim was to keep playing music non-stop for the full two hours.
"The Great North Air Ambulance came in to do an assembly and the girls were taken by this," said headteacher Mike Abraham.
"They have no Government support so the girls decided that this term, any fundraising we do will be for them.
