MOST people dread going to the dentists, but for Rebecca Kipling it's something to smile about.
The 26-year-old, from Moorlands Road, Darlington, has been named Dental Receptionist of the Year 2005.
Miss Kipling has worked at the town's Springs Dental Practice, in Yarm Road, for the past seven years.
She was awarded the title at the recent Dental Awards 2005 ceremony, which was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, in London.
Miss Kipling, known as Becki to the patients, said: "This was the first time our practice had entered the awards and we will definitely be looking at applying again in the future.
"To win was such a fantastic surprise, especially as there were entries from Glasgow right down to Devon."
The ceremony was organised by The Probe and the British Dental Health Foundation.
Miss Kipling has another reason to celebrate. Last week, she completed her diploma in dental practice management and has her sights on climbing up the career ladder.
