DETECTIVES have arrested three people in connection with a violent confrontation that ended in the death of a 23-year-old Teesside man.
Craig Stephenson died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest during the incident, involving up to 30 people, in Keith Road, Grove, Middlesbrough, last Thursday night.
Three people aged 17, 19 and 20 are helping police after they were arrested yesterday.
l Two men have been charged in connection with Mr Stephenson's death. John Sargeant, 18, of Orpington Road, Park End, Middlesbrough, is accused of murder. Craig Conway, 21, of Keith Road, Grove Hill, is charged with violent disorder and having an offensive weapon in a public place.
