MUSICIANS will take to the hills next week to raise money for the restoration of Harrogate Royal Hall.
Members of Harrogate Symphony Orchestra will take part in the 12th annual Nidderdale Walk, on May 8.
The musicians are aiming to generate additional funds for the Royal Hall Restoration Trust, which is trying to raise £1.8m to add to £8m in grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Harrogate Borough Council.
The orchestra's musical director, Bryan Western, said: "Our group has always had very strong bonds with the Royal Hall and, without it, groups like ourselves would undoubtedly disappear.
"We are delighted and honoured to be taking part in the event in support of the trust."
The Nidderdale Walk is organised by Harrogate Rotary Club and includes seven, 12 and 22-mile options.
