NEW activities are planned for this year's Richmond Meet festival.
A cycle road race will be held for the first time during the annual festivities over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, at the end of May.
The race will start at noon on Saturday, May 28. For details, visit Arthur Caygill Cycles on Richmond trading estate.
The six-a-side football tournament will start at 11am on Saturday, at the Earls Orchard playing fields. To enter an under-ten, under-13 or under-15 team, call Les on (01748) 823943 or get an entry form from Castle Walk Sports, in Finkle Street, Richmond. The deadline for entries is May 24.
On Sunday, all ages are invited to attend an afternoon fun day at Earls Orchard.
