FRIENDS of a woman who drove a library bus have created a literary memorial to her name.
Rachel Copus, who was 43 when she died two years ago, used to drive a library bus to travellers' sites around York.
She was also a dedicated member of the city's Local Exchange Trading System, Lets, through which people exchange skills and services without cash changing hands.
Fellow member John Cossham said Ms Copus was remembered for the commitment and energy she brought to the voluntary, non-profit making organisation.
Her friends have now given books in her name to create a "living memorial" at Tang Hall library, in the city.
* An inquest last year heard that Ms Copus committed suicide at her home in Millfield Lane, York, and had a history of mental illness.
