YOUNG people are performing Summer Holiday to celebrate their theatre group's 15th anniversary.
Chester-le-Street Theatre Group's junior section is putting on stage show of the 1963 Cliff Richard classic.
It has a membership of 50 under-18s who perform two shows a year.
Publicity officer June Donald said: "This group of enthusiastic amateur thespians have been performing a wide variety of plays, entertaining the people of Chester-le-Street and County Durham for 15 years.
"The cost of producing a show like this is vast and as we are self supporting, we fundraise in many unusual ways.
"For example, we have car boot sales, tombolas, concerts, raffles and bag packing.
"Anyone wishing to make a contribution or donation towards any of the fundraising events may do so by calling us."
The show will run from May 24 to 29 in Park View Theatre complex in Chester-le-Street, starting at 7.30pm each evening, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £4 for concessions. They can be booked by calling Jean Martin on (0191) 388 3778 or Bill Stephenson on (0191) 388 5957 or Julie Dryden (0191) 388 8524.
