A LOTTERY millionairess plans to marry her sweetheart, but is going to make him buy the wedding ring.
Sarah Cockings was one of three winners to share last Saturday's Lotto rollover jackpot, winning £3,045,705.
The 21-year-old social work student said the money meant she could buy whatever she wanted, but not the thing she wanted most.
Ms Cockings, who celebrated her win with champagne yesterday on Newcastle's Quayside with her sisters, said she had already tried on the ring after seeing it with boyfriend Roy Kelley.
She said: "Even though I can now buy whatever I want, the thing I want most is something I cannot buy. It is only now I can afford it, but I am going to make Roy buy it."
Sarah and offshore engineer Mr Kelley, 21, were classmates at Whitley Bay High School, on North Tyneside, but did not start dating until they met each other again in a bar three years ago.
Mr Kelley, also of Whitley Bay, said: "It is a real funny feeling to be going out with a millionairess."
Ms Cockings said: "It was such a fluke that I won. The first ticket I filled out, Roy tickled me and I made a mess of it, so I had to get a new ticket and decided to fill out the exact same random numbers."
She plans to pay for a family holiday for the two of them and her family.
She said: "I would like to go on safari. And after that, we will have to wait and see."
