ROADWORKS lasting about two months will begin next week in east Cleveland costing £130,000.
Alfred McAlpine will carry out resurfacing work on the A173 Barnes Farm to Skelton road from Monday.
The road will be closed for about seven weeks, and a diversion will be in place along the A174, Apple Orchard Bank and Marske bypass, and the B1269 Yearby Bank.
The scheme involves drainage improvements and resurfacing of the A173 between Barnes Farm and just west of the 30mph entry signs into Skelton.
Residents' access will be maintained at all times where possible.
