ORDER BREACHED: Harold Brown, 49, of Dunstan Close, Guisborough, on bail while waiting sentence on a charge of making threats to kill, was given a verbal warning by Teesside magistrates on Saturday for breaching a curfew order.
A solicitor said the steelworker was intercepted by police while en route to collect his 16-year-old daughter who had telephoned him. Magistrates were told she was alone and distressed after losing sight of her friends in Middlesbrough late at night.
BANK SLIP: Temporary two- way traffic signals have been introduced on the A174 Loftus Bank to allow investigations into a further, minor landslip on the bank.
ARMY CONCERT: Malton Band, supported by the Guisborough Songsters, will lead Salvation Army 125th celebrations at a concert at the army's centre in Westgate, Guisborough on Saturday, at 7pm. There will be services at 10am and 6.15pm, the same day.
