A NORTH-EAST drama teacher has become the proud joint owner of a Bafta through her involvement in an interactive learning programme.
Sarah Davison, from Chester-le-Street, features in the Roman section of the Headline History programme as a female gladiator who has an untimely death.
The Headline History programme, designed as a teaching aid for history in primary schools, was given this year's Children's Learning Bafta.
Ms Davison, who is presently teaching in Bermuda, attended Park View Community School and then went on to study English and theatre studies at Warwick University.
She said she has always enjoyed performing in productions, as well as staging her own at university and in schools.
