A NATIONAL charity that designs and makes specialist equipment for disabled people has set up a new branch in North Yorkshire.
Remap, which stands for Rehabilitation Engineering Movement Advisory Panels, now has a group in Harrogate and Ripon.
The charity has created a volunteer team of technicians and engineers to come up with practical answers to the specific needs of people with disabilities.
The new branch is now looking for support from people and organisations in the area, including someone to act as a treasurer.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact group chairman Peter Hodgson on (01423) 883435.
