THE buoyancy of the region's construction sector has led to the Constructing Excellence organisation having to relocate.
Constructing Excellence, which encourages innovation in the industry, has moved into larger offices in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, within the MMP Group's premises.
The organisation has been housed in County Hall, Durham, since its launch in March 2003 when it was known as Rethinking Construction North East.
The name of the organisation was changed in April last year when Rethinking Construction merged with the Construction Best Practice Programme. Catriona Lingwood, regional director, said: "We have become one of the most recognised organisations in the region and, with the tremendous support we have been shown, have continued to grow."
