YOUNGSTERS enjoyed an energetic time yesterday when they took to trampolines and bouncy castles to raise money for charity.
More than 30 children and a few parents took advantage of the sunshine to take part in the event, at the Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery, at New Marske, east Cleveland.
The nursery decided to support the Happy Days Charity, which provides holiday support for terminally ill and disabled children, and thought the sponsored bounce would appeal to the youngsters.
Head of pre-school Kelly Parfitt said: "The children have had an excellent time. They have been out most of the day and are absolutely shattered now.
"We are not sure how much money we have raised in total yet, but the day was definitely a huge success thanks to the support of local businesses and a little help from the weather."
