TWIN brothers accused of trying to kill their step-father have made another appearance in court.
The 15-year-olds appeared at Hartlepool Youth Court yesterday and were remanded in custody until their next appearance on June 2.
No pleas were entered to any of the charges they face, and no application for bail was made by their solicitor, John Ellwood.
The brothers, who cannot be identified, are both charged with attempted murder.
They are also accused of attacking their mother and sister at their home in Hartlepool on the same day, and face additional charges of wounding with intent, and malicious wounding.
One of the boys faces a further charge of assaulting a police officer, which arises from the same incident, on Wednesday, May 4
