HOSPICE bosses are asking people to join them in celebrating Britain's biggest tea party.
The national event is encouraging people to stop for tea at 3pm on Friday, June 17, and make a donation to their local hospice.
St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington, is offering an extra incentive to companies or organisations thinking about taking part - they could get an Elvis impersonator to join them at their tea time event.
Hospice director Jane Bradshaw said: "I hope the prize of having one of our Elvis impersonators at your organisation or company will encourage more and more people to get involved in this easy initiative."
