THE big screen capers of two animated heroes are being recreated for a video game, thanks to a North Yorkshire company.
Outsource Media, in Harrogate, is working on a game based on the latest Wallace and Gromit feature, The Curse of the Were Rabbit.
Outsource produces sound and speech for the world's leading video games manufacturers, from Sony and Sega to Electronic Arts and SCi Games.
Its products have reached at least ten million people across the world during the past year.
It has recorded with leading actors from the Wallace and Gromit movie, including Helena Bonham Carter and Peter Sallis, who is the voices of Wallace. The company is also working on a new title in the highly successful Conflict series.
Commercial director Dean Gregory said: "The use of broadband for high speed technology means we can serve a global market from our Harrogate base - something which delights us as we are Yorkshire to the bone and don't want to relocate to London."
The company was founded in 1996 by chief executive Mark Estdale. It also has a studio in London and offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
